In "Decimals & Percents," students will discover that decimals name numbers that are less than one and learn that percents compare numbers with 100. Is .25 larger or smaller than .4? Tenths grids, hundredths grids and number lines come to the rescue, and are also used to identify decimals and demonstrate adding subtracting. Kids also discover that it pays to understand all about decimals and decimal points when dealing with money.
