Description

A day does not go by without using simple machines. This program explores the six major types of simple machines with practical, colorful examples of each. Vivid video footage illustrates how each of the following simple machines works and makes our lives easier: levers, inclined planes, wedges, screws, wheel and axles, and pulleys.

Use this video to support ELA Grade 4 Module 3A where students engage in reading, writing, listening, and speaking to build knowledge of simple machines and how they impact force, effort, and work.
