Viewers learn that if they are catching fireflies they should handle them very carefully and only keep them for about an hour. They also learn about ways to help fireflies in the environment around their house. For instance, turning off house lights so that the fireflies can see each other's glow, or by avoiding the use of bug-killing pesticides in the lawn.

Mommy Rescue: Polar Bear and Walrus

Watch as the strengths of the polar bear and the walrus are put to the test when they fear that each of their cubs are in danger. When the polar bear and walrus are on the ice, the polar bear is able to dominate, but the tables are turned when they fall off of the ice into the water and the walrus can use its strengths!

Come along with Chris and Martin and learn about the amazing sense of smell that the Tasmanian devil has and how essential it is for their survival. Come along with Chris and Martin as they encounter some of the challenges of a butterfly's journey south for the winter, including predators and the need for lots of energy. Viewers learn that butterflies use a zig-zagged flight pattern defense to keep away from predators like the Tree Swallow. They also learn that the butterflies must take breaks to refuel and use a special tube-like part of their body — the proboscis — to suck up nectar from flowers.

Chameleon Power | Wild Kratts

A chameleon can extend its tongue to catch preys from far away. Their feet and prehensile tail allow them to climb branches and trees with ease. Chameleons are also one of the few animals in the world that can move their eyes independently of each other, giving them a great advantage to spot predators and prey first. Finally, a chameleon can change its color to match its surrounding.

Now that's a lizard with a lot of special features!
