In this video segment from Cyberchase, the CyberSquad have become separated on an island. In order to find each other they bring up a map on their Skwak Pads and try to compare positions using a coordinate grid and landmarks on the map.

In this episode: The Cyberchase kids have been asked to produce a movie, "Welcome to Frogsnorts". Yet as fun as the task may be, movie productions cost money and the kids only have 600 Snelfus (cybermoney) to get the job done. The kids have figured out that they need a budget for their expenses so that they don't run out of money before the movie is finished.

In this STEM activity from Cyberchase, students watch a video in which a habitat has been disturbed by the construction of a bike path. They then use x and y coordinates to locate items on a map and find a solution to the problem posed in the video.

Bianca finds a gold coin on the sidewalk and thinks that she's rich. When she takes her coin to an expert to find out how much it's worth, she learns that the coin is only worth a dollar. She also learns that in the past currency was either made of something precious or represented a particular amount of silver or gold, but today, money is symbolic and it is worth an agreed-upon exchange value.
