In this Kindergarten through 5th grade activity, language and movement unite. There are two teachers who will read a command, once in Mandarin and once in English. The students listen to both languages and then perform what the command is. Students are asked to complete things such as sit down, stand up, stop and swim. This activity is great for working on psychomotor and cognitive skills.

Sports Fitness

In this Kindergarten through 5th grade Kids in Motion video, students learn about fitness and sports. Students follow along with their teacher to perform exercises that can be found in all different sports. Using the entire body to target all muscle groups, students get fit acting out commonly known sports such as basketball, tennis, and swimming. This lesson focuses largely on the use of psychomotor skills.
